The aim of the BFS is to promote high quality clinical care and patient advocacy through effective representation, research and education in Reproductive Medicine. The BFS recognises the multi¬disciplinary nature of the practice of reproductive medicine and welcomes andrologists, counsellors, doctors, embryologists, nurses and other professional groups working in this field, into its membership. The BFS works closely with the Human Fertilization and Embryology Authority, other government bodies and learned societies. The BFS is working hard with Fertility Network UK and Fertility Fairness to improve NHS funding for treatment. We also co-ordinate evidence-based information on all aspects of fertility care.
