Kevin McEleny

After completing Urological training in the North East, Kevin has set up a unique supra-regional male fertility service, treating couples from across the UK who are affected by severe male factor fertility problems. Working closely with his Reproductive Medicine colleagues, Kevin has introduced a number of new fertility procedures (MicroTESE, MESA) and offers other novel procedures for issues like chronic testicular pain. He holds his Andrology clinics at Newcastle Fertility Centre,

Amongst other roles, Kevin is the British Fertility Society’s Chair of Education and Training. He has developed a number of national fertility education training modules (including on male fertility) for health care professionals and also life science educational events for School students. He has supervised postgraduate students undertaking MD projects, (currently, the psycho-social aspects of male subfertility and Kleinfelter’s Syndrome).
