Founder, Fertility Help Hub
Hello, I’m Eloise. After three years of enjoying life as newlyweds, my husband and I tried for a baby. Six months in, nothing happened. Tests revealed Non-obstructive Azoospermia, due to a genetic condition called Klinefelter Syndrome. We decided to have our treatment abroad in New York because the success rate for the procedure my husband underwent (Micro TESE) is higher.
Sadly, his operation failed so we used donor sperm with my eggs, via IVF.
Round one didn’t work, so we did a FET, which gave us our daughter! A year later we tried for baby number two on a fresh IVF cycle, with the same donor. This time it worked first-time and we now have boy/girl twins!
Having lived through the pain and loneliness of infertility and the complexities of using a donor, I’ve set up Fertility Help Hub to offer others trying to conceive the resources we wish we’d had at the time.
