Having been told by doctors that, due to Izzy's polycystic ovarian syndrome, they would have difficulty conceiving - and after two years of trying - Izzy and Harry turned to IVF. Although their treatment worked first time, their joy quickly turned to sadness when Izzy miscarried a few weeks into her pregnancy. Izzy underwent a second round of treatment which was successful and resulted in baby Lola being born last year. Earlier this year, the couple welcomed a second baby into the world, after Izzy fell pregnant naturally with Kit.
Izzy now aims to break through some of the taboos surrounding miscarriage, IVF and fertility issues. She hopes that she will be a companion to those going through similar challenges to those she has experienced. As she herself says, 'No couple should have to go through it alone and in silence.'
