HFEA Authority Member and Chair of the HFEA Scientific and Clinical Advances Advisory Committee, Medical Director of Oxford Fertility and Group Medical and Founding Director of The Fertility Partnership
Tim is Medical Director and Person Responsible of Oxford Fertility, and Group Medical and Founding Director of The Fertility Partnership (TFP), a group with 20 IVF clinics in six European countries. He is GMC Responsible Officer for TFP’s eight UK clinics. Tim is also Associate Professor of Reproductive Medicine in the Nuffield Department of Women’s and Reproductive Health at the University of Oxford. He became an Authority member on the 18th of January 2021.
Tim was a member of the Guidelines Development Group that wrote the 2013 NICE Fertility Guidelines. He is co-author of the UK’s highest selling undergraduate textbook in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and has published over 100 research papers and chapters. Tim is a firm believer in Evidence Based Medicine and has undertaken and published a number of randomised controlled trials assessing the place of different interventions in assisted conception. He works as a hands-on clinician, treating NHS and self-funded patients at Oxford Fertility and leads the Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT-M/SR) programme.
