Gabby Vautier and Jessica Hepburn are joint founders and directors of Fertility Fest – the world’s first arts festival dedicated to fertility, infertility, reproductive science and modern families. Both women are professional arts producers and former IVF patients and founded Fertility Fest in 2016 with the aim of using the power of the arts - theatre, music, dance, literature, visual art and film - to unlock the experience of the fertility patient in order to find ways of improving mental health and emotional support. 2019 will be the biggest festival yet with a four week residency at London’s Barbican Centre (23 April to 18 May) and satellite festivals at the The Fertility Show in Manchester and London - the UK’s largest patient event; and ESHRE Vienna - the biggest fertility industry conference in the world. Jessica is the former Executive Director of the Lyric Theatre Hammersmith and now also an author and fertility campaigner following the publication of her two books The Pursuit of Motherhood and 21 Miles. Gabby is the former Head of Creative Learning and Professional Practice at the Barbican and mum to twin girls born as a result of IVF.

“We are really excited to be partnering with The Fertility Show this year. We have long been massive fans of the Show which is such a valuable resource for people who need assisted conception. It’s an unparalleled place for people to get access to the best clinical experts in the field, and now we hope to bring a whole new focus on the emotional experience of treatment as well. Working together in this way we think there’s the potential to create an event that will be truly unmissable in the fertility calendar and help so many people on their fertility journeys.”
